MIAMI, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- No injuries were reported but one jetliner had a damaged wing and another had a damaged tail after a collision at Miami International Airport, authorities said.

The collision occurred late Thursday afternoon as an Aerolinas Argentinas Airbus, arriving from Argentina with 240 passengers aboard, struck an Air France 777-300 about to take off for Paris with 350 passengers, the Miami Herald reported Friday.

"Neither plane will be flying tonight," said airport spokesman Marc Henderson after the incident Thursday.

The passengers from Argentina departed the plane, but the Air France passengers were forced to leave their plane, obtain their luggage and stand in line, some for up to four hours, to reschedule their flights, the newspaper said.

"The plane hadn't even moved from the gate," said Jose Mora, a passenger on the Air France flight of the collision. "No one panicked. The damage was minimal."
