BATON ROUGE, La., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Six Louisiana teenagers were arrested after a fight at a Baton Rouge mall that led to the shopping center being evacuated, police said.
The brawl happened around 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mall of Louisiana when as many as 200 juveniles gathered at the food court, The Baton Rouge Advocate reported.
East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said a post on Instagram, an online social media website, called for teens to meet at the mall, similar to a "flash mob."
When the crowd gathered in the food court, a fight broke out, Hicks said.
Deputies, city police and state troopers responded to the incident and ultimately evacuated and closed the mall.
Six teenagers, ages 13 to 15, were arrested at the scene. They face various charges, including disturbing the peace, simple battery, and resisting an officer.
