Obama back in Washington Sunday

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- President Obama and the first family were scheduled to arrive Sunday in Washington, after vacationing in Honolulu, the White House said.

The family left Honolulu from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at approximately 10 p.m. (3 a.m. EDT) Saturday night. They were scheduled to arrive at Joint Base Andrews in Washington at 11:30 a.m., and at the South Lawn of the White House at 11:45 a.m., the daily schedule indicated.

The president will spend next week in meetings at the White House.
