Neighbors complain of smell, San Francisco bacon restaurant shut down
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- An unidentified Los Angeles man died New Year's Day when his refrigerator fell on him as he reached for a beer, the county coroner's office said.
The man, in his 60s, was getting a drink from the refrigerator in his garage Tuesday afternoon, Los Angeles County assistant chief coroner Ed Winter said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, KCAL-TV, Los Angeles, reported.
