SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 1 (UPI) -- A man's body was found in newly poured concrete at a Santa Fe Springs, Calif., business, in what detectives say is a homicide.

The body was discovered Sunday at a heating and air conditioning business after Whittier, Calif., police received information about a possible killing, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

The concrete was broken up an excavated, and an adult male body was recovered, police department spokesman Brad White said, adding detectives are working to identify the victim.

Juan Alberto Galviz, 35, was arrested Sunday in connection with the discovery, and is being held in lieu of over a million dollars bail, police said.

Detectives said preliminary investigations indicated a "feud" between Galviz and the victim.
