Hospital videos reach 100,000 viewers

CHICAGO, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- A Chicago hospital's medical videos have reached more than 100,000 viewers on YouTube, officials say.

The 374 videos put out by Loyola University Health System have collectively gathered more than 100,000, a release from the hospital said. The hospital reached the milestone on Dec. 11.

The videos are on topics including treatments, patient stories, research, physician interviews, community programs.

Loyola's videos with the most views include "Patient has no visible scar after gallbladder surgery," which has 3,617 views; " Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing breaks ground on Center for Collaborative Learning," with 3,507 views; and "My life at Stritch School of Medicine" which has 2,812 views.
