No public events during Obama vacation

WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama had no public events scheduled for Monday as he spends Christmas Eve with his family in Honolulu, the White House said.

The Obama family arrived Saturday in Hawaii for their Christmas vacation.

The president has no public events scheduled for his entire vacation, though the White House did not say when the family plans to return to Washington.
