Leonard M. Harjo cited a growing casino, a school language program, a new tribal court system and increased construction as highlights of his first term as accomplishments during his tenure, The (Oklahoma City) Oklahoman reported Monday.
"We have just begun the process of building the Seminole Nation of the 21st century on a solid foundation of financial integrity and cultural heritage," he said.
Harjo belongs to the Panther (Tiger) Clan, and earned an economics degree from Harvard University and a master's degree in public and private management from the Yale University School of Management.
