Anti-Semitic graffiti reported in Florida

MIAMI, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Two incidents of anti-Semitic graffiti were reported to police in south Florida during the weekend, the Anti-Defamation League said.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel said the first graffiti was found written in front of a Hanukkah display at a Chabad House in Miami Beach Saturday morning. A second incident found a swastika and profane anti-Semitic epithet spray-painted on a Dumpster outside Temple Beth Torah in Wellington Sunday.

Police are investigating both incidents. It was unclear if they're related.

"Such bigotry is un-American and a sad reflection of those in our community who attempt to intimidate and offend religious groups through anti-Jewish vandalism," ADL Florida Interim Director Yael Hershfield said in a statement.
