YAKIMA, Wash., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- A 14-year-old boy in Washington state has pleaded guilty in juvenile court to groping a woman in a Catholic church and a barista at a coffee stand.

The suspect, whose name was not reported, pleaded guilty Friday to indecent liberties for the church attack and burglary with sexual motivation for the attack on the barista, the Yakima (Wash.) Herald-Republic reported.

He faces as much as 2 1/2 years in juvenile prison, unless the court decides he qualifies for sex-offender therapy.

A sentencing date has not been scheduled, pending an evaluation.

Court documents show the teen was accused of groping a 37-year-old woman Jan. 30, and the barista Aug. 5.

The teen had a criminal history that dates to February 2011 when he threw a Chihuahua mix 15 to 20 feet in the air, breaking its leg, documents show.

He was caught May 13, 2011, breaking into the home of an elderly neighbor. He pleaded guilty to residential burglary and second-degree animal cruelty, and was sentenced to 31 days in juvenile custody.
