CLEVELAND, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The mother of a slain 3-year-old found in compacted trash has been arraigned on an aggravated murder charge in Cleveland.
Camilia Terry, 20, was charged in Cleveland Municipal Court Thursday after she reported her son Emilliano Terry missing Sunday. FBI agents Monday found a body believed to be Emilliano's at an Oakwood, Ohio, trash transfer station in a trash bag from a Dumpster near Terry's apartment, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Thursday. The newspaper said the results of DNA tests confirming the identity have not yet been received.
Prosecutor Brian Murphy said in court the boy died of blunt force trauma to the head, noting the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office determined his skull was fractured.
The case against Terry will move to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, where a grand jury will consider additional charges.
