Christopher Bane was arrested Tuesday and charged with the misdemeanor making a terroristic threat. A witness told police Bane said he planned to go to the Islamic Center of San Antonio where he was "going to shoot as many people as possible, and then kill himself" using a .45-caliber handgun, the San Antonio Express-News reported Wednesday.
Police notified officials at the mosque, which also serves as a non-profit school and day care facility.
Bane is being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.
