Live shotgun round found on airplane

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- A Delta Air Lines flight from Milwaukee to Detroit was delayed after a passenger found a shotgun shell at his seat, police said.

The passenger informed the flight crew he discovered a live shotgun round in the pocket of the seat in front of his Wednesday morning, Milwaukee County Sheriff's spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin said.

Passengers left the plane so law enforcement officials and bomb-sniffing dogs could check the aircraft, and were re-screened by Transportation Security Administration agents before they re-boarded the plane and departed for Detroit, the Milwaukee Journal sentinel reported Wednesday.
