MIAMI, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- A man who said he had dynamite in his luggage was questioned at Miami International Airport Monday, but no explosives were found, officials said.

Concourse J was partially evacuated as the Miami-Dade police bomb squad searched the man's luggage, police spokesman Detective Alvaro Zabeleta told The Miami Herald, adding the man recanted his statement during the search.

One outbound Avianca Airlines flight and some international arrivals were delayed by an hour because of the search, airport spokesman Greg Chin said.

The airport has resumed normal operations, the newspaper said.
