Neighbors complain of smell, San Francisco bacon restaurant shut down

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- A single-engine plane made a crash landing on the Cal State Northridge campus in Los Angeles Sunday, authorities said.
The aircraft's two occupants, a man and a woman, escaped with only minor injuries, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said it appeared the pilot of the six-passenger Cessna 206 tried to land on the school's athletic field but overshot it, slamming through a chain link fence and flipping over.
No one on the ground was hurt.
The plane lost power while on a flight from Novato, in Marin County, to John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
