Obama schedule for Friday, Nov. 16

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- President Obama meets with top congressional Republicans and Democrats Friday to discuss ways to reduce the deficit and grow the economy, the White House said.

Joining Obama will be Vice President Joe Biden, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.; Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio; and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the daily schedule indicated.

In the afternoon, Obama and Biden will meet with leaders of civic organizations and other outside groups to discuss economic and deficit-reduction issues.
