KEY WEST, Fla., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A Florida man who was angry about President Obama's re-election has died in an apparent suicide, police in Key West said.

An officer doing a welfare check on Henry Hamilton, 64, found his body last Thursday, Keysnet.com reported. Police Officer Anna Dykes said empty bottles that had contained Xanax and Seroquel were found near the body and the slogan "F--k Obama" was written on a wall.

Michael Cossey, Hamilton's partner, told investigators that Hamilton was anxious about his business, Tropical Tan, and was angry about the outcome of the election. Cossey said he and Hamilton watched the results come in election night -- the last time he saw him.

"If Barack gets re-elected, I'm not going to be around," Cossey quoted his partner as saying.
