WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Support for repealing U.S. President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law hit a record low following his re-election, pollsters said.

A Kaiser Family Foundation survey that has tracked the popularity of the legislation since Obama signed it in March 2010 found just 33 percent of Americans, 1-in-3, want to see the law repealed.

The survey comes as even some of the so-called Obamacare's harshest critics acknowledged it is here to stay.

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, noted "Obamacare is the law of the land" and said his majority would stop trying to repeal it, The Hill reported.

Forty-three percent of Americans said they had a favorable view of the law and 39 percent said they did not.

The poll was conducted Nov. 7-10 and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
