WEEHAWKEN, N.J., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Two buses collided on the New Jersey side of New York City's Lincoln Tunnel Monday, injuring 20 people and snarling traffic, a Port Authority spokesman said.

A New Jersey Transit bus and a Martz Trailways bus collided in an express lane entering the 1.5-mile tunnel under the Hudson River between Weehawken, N.J., and New York City, about 7:15 a.m., Ron Marisco, spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said, adding a truck and a bus were involved in another accident 2 hours later.

"There's delays, coming into the city right now, obviously," he said.

Commuters said they were delayed by up to 3 hours, The New York Times reported.
