SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- A storm dropped as much as 18 inches of snow on Utah's Wasatch Front and contributed to more than 100 road accidents, police said.

The Utah Highway Patrol reported 117 accidents and 26 injuries from Saturday night through Sunday afternoon in the state's Davis, Weber, Utah and Salt Lake counties.

The season's first major snowfall saw considerable snow in the Great Salt Lake area, but little in other parts of the state, KSL-TV reported.

In the Wasatch Mountains, ski resorts added to their snow pack with about 46 inches recorded at the Snowbird and Alta resorts, the Salt Lake City Deseret News reported Monday.
