WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Robbers fired shots near the White House Friday, Washington Metropolitan Police Department officials said. No one was injured.

Four men with guns robbed a group of five people of cash, cellphones and other items near Dupont Circle about 6:25 a.m., WJLA-TV reported.
