Man arrested for allegedly stabbing 4 men

Nov. 1, 2012 at 3:53 PM

MIAMI, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with allegedly stabbing four people at a party in Miami early Thursday, police said.

Anevri Moreira, 21, was charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing four men during a fight at a Halloween party, WPLG-TV, Miami, reported.

Of the four victims, two were in critical condition, Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said. One victim is in stable condition and another is believed to only have suffered cuts.

Police said witnesses helped apprehend Moreira. They also said they have the knife they say was used.

"Because of the amount of police presence, we were not just to recover the knife, but apprehend the person that may have been the one that stabbed four victims," Reyes said.

It's unclear what started the fight.
