KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Police in Kansas City, Mo., are searching for a man who robbed a Church's Chicken restaurant armed with a samurai sword.

Police said a light-skinned, black male entered the restaurant Tuesday night armed with the sword and demanded cash from the register. He was described as between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-5 and weighing 120-130 pounds. He fled the scene in a two-toned brown Chevrolet pickup, likely built in the 1980s, The Kansas City (Mo.) Star reported.

Police did not say how much money the sword-wielding robber made off with.
