WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Restore Our Future, a super PAC dedicated to electing Mitt Romney president of the United States, took in nearly $15 million in September, records show.

At least three individuals wrote seven-figure checks in September, including Texas homebuilder Bob Perry ($2 million), Houston Texans owner Bob McNair ($1 million) and Herzog Contracting Chairman Stanley Herzog ($1 million), Politico reported.

Restore Our Future took in $14.83 million while spending only $4.56 million for the month, Federal Election Commission documents show.

However, the super PAC has already spent more than $10 million in October on ads attacking President Barack Obama.
