LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- An 82-year-old woman was sentenced to six years in jail after she pleaded guilty to another burglary in Los Angeles.

Doris Ann Gamble pleaded guilty to seven counts of burglary and attempted burglary and was sentenced to jail time Friday, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Court records show Gamble has been imprisoned at least nine times for burglaries in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

She was arrested last month at an El Segundo hotel, where police say they found evidence linking her to recent burglaries.

"I don't think this will stop her from doing this again," Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Paulette Paccione said at the time of her arrest. "She's not really apologetic about it. This is her thing."
