Obama schedule for Wednesday, Oct. 17

WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- President Obama travels to Iowa and Ohio for campaign events Wednesday, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Depart Washington for Mount Vernon, Iowa, where he will speak at a campaign event at Cornell College.

-- Depart Mount Vernon for Athens, Ohio, where he will speak at a campaign event at Ohio University.

-- Return to Washington.
