BELGRADE, Mont., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- A man suspected of abducting and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old Wyoming girl was arrested in Montana Sunday,, authorities said.
The FBI confirmed the suspect was in custody but did not release his name, KKTV-TV, Colorado Springs, Colo., reported. Police in Cody, Wyo., where the girl was kidnapped Monday, declined comment, the TV station said.
The girl was found along a road by several hunters several hours after a man lured the girl into his sport utility vehicle under the pretense of needing help to look for his missing puppy.
Authorities have said the Wyoming case related to the recent abduction and slaying of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway in Colorado.
