Biden and Ryan schedules for Oct. 2

Vice President Joe Biden travels to North Carolina and Republican Vice President is in Iowa Tuesday, their offices said.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Vice President Joe Biden travels to North Carolina and Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is in Iowa Tuesday, their offices said.

Biden will travel to Charlotte, N.C., to speak at a campaign event at The Fillmore.

In Asheville, Biden will deliver remarks at a campaign event at the University of North Carolina, Asheville.

Later, he will return to Washington.

Ryan will attend a rally in Clinton, Iowa.

Later, he will attend a campaign event in Muscatine.

Also in the afternoon, Ryan will attend a campaign event in Burlington.
