Man kills brother at TSU homecoming

NASHVILLE, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Witnesses told police two brothers got into a fight after Tennessee State's homecoming football game and one fatally stabbed the other.

Jesse T. Alexander, 26, of Nashville, was killed outside LP Field Saturday night, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported.

His brother, Joshua Alexander, 38, fled the scene and was not in custody Sunday, police said. No charges had been filed against the brother.

Nashville police said witnesses said an argument between the two brothers escalated into a physical fight in a stadium parking lot where they and other family members and friends were tailgating after Tennessee State's homecoming football game victory. The younger brother was stabbed about 8:15 p.m.
