Obama's schedule for Tuesday, Sept. 11

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- President Obama, the first lady and the White House Staff mark the 11th anniversary of the terror attacks on U.S. soil Tuesday, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Gather on the South Lawn of the White House with first lady Michelle Obama and the White House staff to observe a moment of silence to mark the anniversary.

-- Travel with the first lady to the Pentagon Memorial to attend the Sept. 11th observance ceremony.

-- Travel to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and visit with soldiers being treated at the hospital, along with and their families.

-- Meet with Vice President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
