SANDUSKY, Ohio, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Police in Sandusky, Ohio, on Monday arrested a man for allegedly killing a woman and her two young children.

Curtis Clinton, 41, was arrested on charges of aggravated murder for the deaths of Heather Jackson, 23, and her daughter and son, Celina, 3, and Wayne, 18 months, the Sandusky (Ohio) Register reported.

Jackson and her children were found dead in their home Saturday night, police said.

Clinton was picked up at the Bellevue Hospital Monday, where he was checked in for an unrelated medical complaint, officials said. After several hours of questioning, police arrested and charged him for the deaths of Jackson and her children.

Clinton may also face charges for an unrelated rape case, the news report said. Police haven't released details on that case.

Meanwhile, officials haven't determined Jackson's and the children's cause of death, saying there were no signs of trauma, such as gun-shot or stab wounds. Their bodies have been taken to the Lucas County coroner's office for autopsies, Sandusky Assistant Police Chief John Orzech said.

Friends said Jackson was working to get her life together, the Sandusky Register said.

Jackson was a single mother and had just moved into the house where she and her children were found dead.
