Man drives bulldozer through workplace

HOUSTON, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- A disgruntled employee drove a bulldozer through the Houston building where he worked, causing $1.5 million in damage, company officials said.

Lynn Benson, 52, was arrested Monday evening and charged with felony criminal mischief after he plowed though the front of Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, his employer, breaking a water line that flooded the ground floor and damaged computers and other office equipment, The Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.

There were no injuries, Houston police said, adding that Benson's actions were intentional.

The motivation for his act was not reported.
