Jenny Schiavone, a DIA spokeswoman, said she was unsure of what kind of disturbance was caused.

This was the second flight in a week to have to be diverted to Denver because of an unruly passenger, The Denver Post said.

On Aug. 19, a JetBlue flight from New York to Los Angeles, was diverted after a passenger, identified as Marcus Covington, 32, of Chicago, allegedly fondled a pregnant woman, officials said. He also allegedly threatened a flight attendant, other passengers and police officers after being taken off the plane.

Covington was charged with interference with a flight attendant and abusive sexual contact on an aircraft for the incident and has a trial date set for Oct. 15.
