Woman sues over video converted to porn

NEWARK, N.J., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- A New Jersey woman blames Parent TV for the conversion of a video offering breast-feeding instruction for new mothers into a piece of online pornography.

MaryAnn Sahoury of Fair Lawn filed a federal lawsuit last year against Meredith Corp., the Iowa company that owns Parent TV, The Record of Bergen County said.

Sahoury said the pornography, posted on YouTube, could be reached by searching for her name and says she didn't authorize Parent TV to use her full name on the breast-feeding video.

Sahoury agreed to appear in the breast-feeding video without pay. She said she had concerns about doing it but wanted to help other new mothers.

A judge recently refused Meredith's motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
