JOLIET, Ill., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The former sister-in-law of an Illinois man on trial for the drowning death of his third wife testified he cleaned the bathtub a day after the woman died in it.
Kathleen Savio was found dead face-down in the master bathroom tub of the couple's home in 2004. Savio's sister, Anna Marie Doman, testified Friday when she went to the house one day after her sister was found dead, she saw then-Bollingbrook, Ill., police sergeant Drew Peterson, Savio's husband, scrubbing the tub where the woman was found, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
