Deanna Ballman, 23, of Pataskala, the mother of two young children and eight months pregnant with a third, was last seen alive Tuesday, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Her mother, Lori, said she answered a Craigslist ad for a housekeeping job.
Lori Ballman reported her daughter missing Tuesday night after getting a call from her. Deanna told her mother she felt sick, and the call ended abruptly with a woman shouting and the sounds of what appeared to be fighting, James Ballman, Deanna's brother, said.
A search Wednesday focused on the area around a housing development in New Albany, Ohio, police said. Pataskala Police Chief Bruce Brooks said a dive team and a Columbus police helicopter joined the search.
But at 12:30 p.m., a man saw Ballman's car about 5 miles away on a road in Harlem Township. Her body was inside.
The death is being treated as suspicious. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
