DETROIT, July 20 (UPI) -- Detroit police Friday identified the dismembered corpses of a man and a woman found floating in the Detroit River earlier in the week.
Police confirmed the victims found Tuesday floating in the Detroit River without heads, hands or feet to be Chris Hall, 42, and Danielle Greenway, 32, both residents of Allen Park, Mich., The Detroit News reported.
The Wayne County (Mich.) Medical Examiner's Office said both Hall and Greenway died of gunshot wounds.
Police are searching the victims' homes in Allen Park. Allen Park Police Chief James Willkewitz and Detroit Police Chief Ralph L. Godbee Jr. are expected to hold a news conference on the deaths at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Allen Park City Hall.
