NEW YORK, July 18 (UPI) -- A New York City sex offender who has been arrested 169 times was arraigned for grinding on two females on a Trans-Hudson rapid transit train.
Gian Verdelli, 61, was arrested for the 169th time Monday and faced arraignment Tuesday on two counts of drug possession and criminal sexual contact for grinding on two women on the train.
Port Authority police officers ran an undercover sting operation Monday after receiving two separate complaints regarding Verdelli's actions.
Verdelli, whose rap sheet dates back to 1970 and is a registered sex offender, was being held without bail at Hudson County Jail.
