Obama's schedule for Wednesday, July 18

WASHINGTON, July 18 (UPI) -- President Obama meets with his agriculture secretary Wednesday to discuss a response to the drought that has gripped the United States, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the daily briefing.

-- Meet with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to discuss the administration's efforts to respond to the drought.

-- Have lunch with Biden.

-- Welcome the 2012 NCAA Women's Basketball Champion Baylor University Bears to the White House to congratulate the team on its historic 40-0 season and its NCAA championship.

-- Attend a campaign event in the Washington area.
