GREELEY, Colo., July 18 (UPI) -- A Greeley, Colo., high school teacher was jailed after an anonymous tip to police revealed she sexually assaulted a student, police said Wednesday.

Rhonda Eisenberg, 44, a Spanish teacher, was booked into Weld County Jail Tuesday after admitting to a sexual relationship with a high school student while he lived with her in 2010, the Greeley Tribune reported Wednesday.

"Several months before he graduated, she gave birth to a Hispanic baby and co-workers and family suspected she had a relationship with the victim, who was a minor in her care," said Lt. Carl Alm, spokesman for the Greeley Police Department. "She admitted to sexual intercourse with the victim multiple times before he moved out in September 2010. The victim is the father of her baby."

Eisenberg was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault on a child, one involving a pattern of abuse, the other involving being in a position of trust, court papers say.
