ORLANDO, Fla., July 16 (UPI) -- "Witness 9" told prosecutors murder suspect George Zimmerman sexually molested her for a decade in audio evidence released Monday in Florida.

The audiotape is part of a new set of evidence released by Special Prosecutor Angela Corey at the Seminole County Courthouse, which included more than 140 recorded telephone calls Zimmerman made from Seminole County Jail while awaiting trial on second-degree murder charges, the Orlando Sentinel reported Monday.

Zimmerman has admitted he killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed, black 17-year-old on Feb. 26, claiming self-defense after Martin allegedly attacked him.

The accusation of "Witness 9," who said the sexual abuse began when she was 6 and ended when she was 16, would likely have no impact on Zimmerman's trial, lawyers said, but in a statement released several weeks ago, she told Sanford police Zimmerman had a low opinion of black people although she did not cite specifics, the newspaper said Monday.
