GREENSBURG, Pa., July 13 (UPI) -- Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum says he'll attend the opening of a Pennsylvania campaign office for his ex-rival, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Santorum will appear at Romney's new campaign office in Greensburg Saturday.

It will be the Pennsylvanian's first formal campaign appearance in support of Romney, ABC News reported.

Santorum was among Romney's foes in the Republican primaries before suspending his own campaign in April.

Santorum, who formerly served as the representative for Greensburg's congressional district, said he was happy to help Romney's campaign.
