DETROIT, July 10 (UPI) -- The Michigan Humane Society says it is investigating a video allegedly depicting a Detroit rapper with pit bulls and roosters used for fighting.

The rapper, known as Young Calicoe, tours an unidentified home, showing off cages of roosters and pit bulls, asking the viewer, "Anybody want to fight some dogs?" The Detroit News reported.

"We fight them, too," he says, pointing to a rooster. "That's a grand champ right there."

"I hope we don't get indicted for that -- that Michael Vick-type [expletive]," he tells the camera, referring to the NFL quarterback convicted for participation in a dogfighting ring.

Humane Society spokesman Kevin Hatman told the Detroit Free Press the animal cruelty hotline has gotten "quite a few calls" regarding the video, posted Monday on LiveLeak.com.

"Cruelty investigators are aware of it and are currently investigating," he said.

Meanwhile, Young Calicoe took to Twitter for damage control:

"If u find a video of me 'FIGHTING DOGS' PLEEEEZE LET ME KNO," he posted. When a follower replied, "Please tell me you don't have one?!" the rapper replied with: "HELL NAAAW."
