WASHINGTON, July 9 (UPI) -- Most U.S. voters said the Affordable Care Act will be repealed if presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney wins, Rasmussen Reports said Monday.
Eighty percent of likely voters nationwide said they believe the healthcare law would be repealed if Romney wins the White House and Republicans win control of Congress, results of a Rasmussen Reports survey indicated.
A scant 15 percent said they thought repeal would be unlikely.
The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is scheduled to take up repealing the Affordable Care Act this week. Democrats currently control the Senate.
Results are based on a nationwide survey of 1,000 likely voters conducted Thursday and Friday. The margin of error is 3 percentage points.
