WILMINGTON, Del., July 9 (UPI) -- Gunfire at a soccer tournament in Wilmington, Del., Sunday afternoon left one person dead and four wounded, police said.
Wilmington police officials said they believed multiple shots were fired by various parties during a soccer match in Eden Park, WPVI-TV, Philadelphia, reported.
Officials said the fatality was one of three suspects police caught up with after they fled the scene in a car. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police said one of the other two suspects had sustained a gunshot wound in the park shooting and the other was injured by a police dog, the TV station said.
Their names were being withheld.
