GALT, Calif., June 18 (UPI) -- A female fugitive profiled on television's "America's Most Wanted" was nabbed in a small California town early Monday, police said.

Tina Barron, 26, was chased down by a police dog and arrested by SWAT officers in Galt shortly after midnight on charges she stabbed and wounded her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend in Sacramento.

Barron tried to flee out the backdoor of a house where she was visiting as officers closed in but ran into a Galt police sergeant and his canine partner, Galt police told the Sacramento Bee.

The Bee said Barron was featured on "'America's Most Wanted' in April," three months after she allegedly knifed her ex and the other woman during custody dispute.

Barron was lodged in a Sacramento County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
