WASHINGTON, June 15 (UPI) -- U.S. House leaders in both parties reported taking hits in their wallets, their latest financial disclosures indicated.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat, indicated her minimum net worth dropped by about $8.8 million in 2011, The Hill reported. Her financial disclosure report, released Thursday, valued Pelosi's wealth as at least $26.4 million at the end of 2011, down from at least $35.2 million.

Speaker John Boehner, a Republican, reported his minimum net worth dropped by about 14 percent. Boehner's wealth fell from $2.1 million in 2010 to $1.8 million in 2011, his financial disclosure report indicated.

Pelosi was 12th on The Hill's 2011 list of wealthiest members.

Pelosi reported nearly $39.3 million in assets and almost $12.9 million in liabilities for 2011, the disclosure report indicated. The Hill said her drop in wealth could be traced, in part, to an increase in liabilities last year. She reported about $8.3 million in liabilities for 2010.

Boehner reported no liabilities in 2011.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid reported a minimum net worth of $2.6 million on his financial disclosure form for 2011, a nearly 24 percent drop from 2010, The Hill said.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell reported an increase in his minimum net worth. He reported his wealth was at least $9.9 million, a bump from the $9.8 million he reported in 2010.
