FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 22 (UPI) -- A Florida couple was arrested after allegedly stealing luggage from an airport baggage area, police said.

Sean Maxwell, 44, and his wife Lorina Flint, 42, are accused of working together to steal luggage from airport baggage carousels at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Maxwell blended in with passengers and allegedly walked away with luggage, while Flint was allegedly his getaway driver, police said.

They are charged in at least five similar thefts at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport since late March, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Tuesday.

A United Airlines employee noticed a person, matching Maxwell's description from a surveillance video, taking a bag Sunday morning. A Broward County Sheriff's officer stopped the man as he entered a vehicle, which was driven by Flint.

The list of charges against the couple includes grand theft and organized scheme to defraud.

Maxwell and Flint are being held without bond, the newspaper said.
