U.S. President Barack Obama stands with Rose Mary Sabo-Brown as her late husband, U.S. Army Specialist Leslie H. Sabo, Jr., is posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor during a ceremony in the East Room of the White House in Washington, DC, on May 16, 2012. Sabo was awarded the metal for his extreme acts of bravery while fighting in Cambodia during the Vietnam War. Sabo picked up a live enemy grenade and threw it back while shielding a wounded comrade with his own body.
