ACTON, Calif., May 9 (UPI) -- Fire officials said a fire that burned 126 acres in Acton, Calif., destroyed several buildings and triggered a precautionary evacuation has been contained.

Nearly 400 firefighters from Los Angeles County, the city of Los Angeles and the U.S. Forest Service battled the wind-whipped blaze that erupted Tuesday afternoon, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Wednesday.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the fire destroyed a mobile home, an outbuilding, two sheds and two vehicles. As a precaution, 30 homes were evacuated.
